5:09p
Hey folks,
Trent and I are headed out to PNL (an amazing paintball arena) this weekend, Sunday, earlier in the day. We'll probably arrive by 11:00.
Anybody else in?
Rides available if leaving from Cambridge/Slummerville.

7:20p Weekend photos
Hey everyone.
Sorry, but it looks like Friday is off. There was some interest, but it was scattered between the two nights unevenly.
I'll try again towards the end of this month. I'll be less busy then anyway. Next time I plan to ask the Friday/ Saturday question and make a call within a day, to solidify plans more meaningfully.
Stay tuned.

12:57p New hair dye.
For the first time in nigh on a decade, Special Effects hair color does not suit my purposes.
I know there are a few other good hair dyes out there. One has some kind of french name, for instance. What are they?
Please note: I hate manic panic. It is awful. do not recommend it to me. If you like manic panic, and want to suggest something else please let me know so I know what your baseline for 'good dye' is.

5:05p Excerpt from presidential advice manual.
In the event of demonstrators:
The formation of "rally squads" is a common way to prepare for demonstrators by countering their message. This tactic involves utilizing small groups of volunteers to spread favorable messages using large hand held signs, placards, or perhaps a long sheet banner, and placing them in strategic areas around the site.
These squads should be instructed always to look for demonstrators. The rally squad's task is to use their signs and banners as shields between the demonstrators and the main press platform. If the demonstrators are yelling, rally squads can begin and lead supportive chants to drown out the protesters (USA!, USA!, USA!). As a last resort, security should remove the demonstrators from the event site. The rally squads can include, but are not limited to, college/young republican organizations, local athletic teams, and fraternities/ sororities.
God bless.

3:13p Michael Jackson Memorial is RETARDED!
Can I just say that?
I mean all these years he's WACKO JACKO and today he's "innocent until proven guilty". It's a concert not a funeral... and it's creepy with that casket on the stage like that.
I just want to slap them all.

12:28p Restless Lady
Here is your daily adorable Jerboa photo.
On a side note I know I am going to Boston this weekend for Xmortis's 5th anniversary.
Next weekend I am going to Altanta for Skin Two and yet I'm STILL restless for travel!!!
I think the real scoop on this is that I need a vacation... something that's not "work" related of some sort. A full week to screw around some new city in a hotel and sleep in if I so please.

10:39p Geekage I've been meaning to post
The so-far-this-summer unparallelled ass-whoopery of the new Star Trek film (seriously it's the best Trek movie since Wrath of Khan and anyone who says differently sucks Tellarite cock by choice!) has put me on an insane TOS kick of late. Fortunately between swashbuckler332's giving me his VHS copies of the series and the HD episodes available on Hulu and YouTube I've been wallowing in a mud bath of geekery the likes of which I've not indulged in in quite some time.
As a result I've re-discovered some episodes which, at least in my experience, tend to get lost in amongst the more famous episodes but which are fantastic in their own right. As many of you have no doubt guessed by this ludicrously long wind up, I intend to use my LJ, at this juncture, as a forum to spout off about said episodes. Don't say you weren't warned.
( Best have on your big dork pants before clicking this link! )
current mood: geeky
